Bucharest Life Jr / 2014-2016

When I first started writing in May 2014, I was two months shy of turning twelve. From that point until July 2016, I wrote on this blog which was known as Bucharest Life Jr. The “jr.” comes from the fact that my Dad wrote for the actual Bucharest Life, which has since been discontinued following hosting problems. You can still follow him on twitter @bucharestlife and also on Medium.

My writing at the time was praised seeing as I was rather young, and I felt very fancy indeed when I was interviewed by a Swedish radio show, and when I was congratulated in person for my article on a light rail plan from Bucharest to Henri Coanda airport.

Seeing as the gap between my last post on Bucharest Life Jr and when I finally started to write again in May 2018, it felt appropriate that a bit of rebranding was necessary. Nevertheless, here are all the posts that I wrote during the Bucharest Life Jr era, for preservation’s sake. Please take everything with a pinch of salt as my opinions on things might have changed, and my writing style wasn’t as mature.

In addition to my regular blog posts, I had two pages; a collection of Google Maps I had done.
